Use of AI was mandated at my last place, it was made part of the career framework and individual usage of AI tools was being tracked. 🤢

The message from leadership was “do AI”. No strategy or plan, just do stuff with AI.

Toxic nonsense and on the list of reasons I decided to leave.

Professionally, I’ve had the honour of leading two areas I care deeply about: accessibility and our design system, Encore.

Encore started as a belief that a design system could work at Spotify — and turned into something far bigger. A career-defining experience, and a team I'm so proud of.
