-One last hug… One last interaction and view before leaving. Ronin wakes up to be in the car with Milk, about to head to their home to comfort them and let them stay at their place for the night.

-that’s been haunting them. Haupia explains “never let doubts scare you into a corner, you’ll never grow and I want you to grow, to learn and be joyful” she wanted Ronin to walk around the neighborhood one last time before opening the door to reality-

-It was time to leave the store… As they leave Macaroon leaves as well, “I’ll be home soon enough” tears resurface but he’s already gone. Turning to face Haupia they’re in their home… A luggage is in front of Ronin. Haupia wanting them to open the luggage only to see the head of the beast-

Tears overflow his eyes and try to respond before being snapped back again with Macaroon concerned, “Is it too expensive? Eh, don’t worry about it you can’t always afford the things you want or need” Ronin quickly hugs Macaroon apologizing but Haupia calls them-

-Macaroon and Ronin go to the toy isle where they always go to check out some Transformers but as Ronin turns they’re somewhere else… Some forest, raining and pouring, they stumble upon Macaroon’s grave and the beast behind them blaming them for their death, “Why couldn’t you save him?”-

-Ronin walking to this familiar store building their loved ones, Haupia and Macaroon, are in front of them about to enter the store and talking as if Ronin was in a dream the whole time… Ronin plays along and pretends what was reality was a dream, a nightmare even, the whole time-

-but they trip.. Falling into some white hole and into a familiar location, somewhere in their home in Hawaii. Tacha(Kaela_Baker INSTA) and Milk( @trifoliumaries.neocities.org ) call Ronin but to no response. Worried they go after them to see if they’re alright-

-making a complete stop they wonder what’s going on again. The beast they saw earlier is in front of them. Closer than ever and a few seconds of silence… Their heart beating faster than ever, the beast lunges at them. Ronin gets out of their vehicle and runs back to the gas station-

-seeing that Ronin has been standing for 10 minutes but they reassure the clerk that they’re fine. After filling up their tank they go back into the road trying to clear their head off with some music. After 30 minutes being in the road their head goes dark again-

-As they’re about to insert their card into the dispenser everything turns dark. Their heart beating fast as they’re trying to figure out what’s going on only to see some beast from across the distance… He snaps back as the clerk asks them if they’re okay-

Ronin is up Flowmountain Hill enjoying the view and about to release the ashes of his beloved friend. Saying his sorrows and goodbyes he leaves the location…
The sky is dark and they need gas so they stop by a gas station-

I did see what direction I was heading but I didn’t really like how it was so… Blue and lacking color, art direction and the overall the story direction of how I was gonna draw it

I wanted to try a watercolor effect? It didn’t work too well for me so I’ll have to rewrite and remake “Fallen Leaf”
