Biden officials keep patting themselves on the back saying "at least we prevented famine!"

But famine is just a regulated word. You need huge swaths of starvation, built up over a long period of time, to reach famine. And starvation preceding famine isn't magically better.

Cuomo’s campaign has clearly been trying to Mamdani-fy his social media presence and literally every single tweet is incredible. They all sound like robots trying to emulate Elon Musk’s sense of humor

I am in no way handing it to Huckabee. This statement is bullshit.

But I'm just noting this post treats Saif with more humanity than anyone in the Biden admin ever showed to any Palestinian or Palestinian American killed by Israel. And that says a *lot* about the Biden administration.

Second vote, to block tens of thousands of other bombs and JDAMs, also fails, 15-83.

Looking at the votes for the first resolution, looks like Warnock and Shaheen flipped their votes, while Ossoff also declined to vote "yes" (he voted for only 2 of 3 resolutions last time.)

incredible to be like “aren’t these people clowns” and then in the next paragraph be like “so anyway i started putting on the clown makeup”

On Sunday, Israeli forces bombed a hospital in Gaza where US doctors Mark Perlmutter and Feroze Sidhwa were working -- just hours after they gave a CNN interview in which Perlmutter laid this *scathing* critique of US media and politicians' complicity in Israeli massacres.

Sanders, speaking on the floor ahead of the vote on his resolutions to block arms to Israel:

"You cannot condemn human rights around the world and then turn a blind eye to what the United States government is now funding in Israel."

Israel mass arrested civilians before the pause in order to have more "prisoners" -- arresting people for social media posts -- to swap in the prisoner exchange, Mondoweiss reports.

jesus christ, this line in the pro-israel resolution the house passed yesterday. basically saying israel's blockade of humanitarian assistance/creation of prison-like conditions is necessary.
