I can’t understand a politician watching Trumps speech and your takeaway attack message is that he “didn’t say anything.” The Democrats are fundamentally broken on this front. They’re winning by default but are set up to lose the long fight.

What exactly can the Republican Party accuse the Democrats of doing wrong over the past year that would potentially prevent us from having a clean sweep in the Midterms? It needs to be said occasionally that if you're a liberal, there is no alternative political party. The Democrats are what you have. Yes, there are minor parties, but they only matter when they work in tandem with the Dems. You can't write off the Democrats. You have to push them forward.
