This is a particular type of Internet Leftist that I have no real tolerance for.

They get angry when you explain a blatant fact, most likely because they've convinced themselves (or have been told by others) that that was not in fact a fact. Probably of the "Biden should have been a dictator" line
Another poster here on Bluesky demanding in response to a post about the supreme court: "Stares at why again couldn't we expand the courts again? Apparently presidents seem to only have all the power when they're of the red variety... weird." My response is: "Because there was no way they would get 50 votes in the senate." Their retort: "I'm sick of your excuses Please go bore someone else with your dipshit excuse"

The White House got a complete redo with Truman, far more than just a bowling alley, but it still preserved the exterior and gave us wonderful photos like this.
The interior of the White House during Truman's second term (Work started in 1948). Vehicles and construction equipment are present inside the empty shell of the exterior, which is being supported by scaffolding and bracing. The interior walls show their age of more than a century.
