I’m nervous to do it because the name has become part of my online brand and identity, and I fear I will lose work because I will be harder to find. However I want to be true to who I am and this feels like me. Anyway, you may notice things slowly changing around here. Don’t fret! It’s still me🖤 4/4

Wild is a name with great personal significance to me. Hence the new moniker Shannon Wild Smith. All this is to say I am eventually going to drop Nan Lawson altogether and change media handles/emails/websites starting in the new year.

I came to dislike the name Nan and feel indifferent to the family name Lawson, but switched to Shannon (my actual name) and kept Lawson for continuity.

However, now I wish to move on from the name Lawson as well and go by my actual first and last (Shannon Smith) name.
