When I read something written by a real human, I like that I can hear their voice in it. I think I notice when the voice is missing.

I did see The Matrix before LotR movies, and my dad would really annoy me by whispering “Mr. Anderson” to me while we were watching a scene with Elrond.

I didn’t know about the writer/director either, but it looks like he won a screenplay Oscar in 1998, so I’m guessing he wasn’t that unknown.

I assume it’s a clerical error because that’s definitely a 2001 movie.

I listened to the audiobook with my 6-year-old daughter in the car on a week when we had to do some extra driving together, and we both enjoyed it. It was really lovely.

My teenage daughter just came lamenting to me that she has to wait for a new song, but she's already learned some of the choreography.

That's amazing. I still have my iPod mini in a drawer. I'm not sure if we have any functioning 30 pin cables, though.
