Found this book intriguing. The narrator held my interest. Interesting perspective on family violence and mental health. Reminded me of Carolyn Coman’s, What Jaime Saw. If you like quiet, thoughtful stories, I recommend it.

When you’re working on something with deep meaning, never fret about the schedule. It takes time to think, for those thoughts to become clearly defined, and to develop the awareness needed to form those thoughts into words.

Be patient. One step at a time.

Yesterday, while walking in NYC, I saw a young woman writing on an old typewriter, art and nature which caused people to stop and admire, I made music and danced, and I laughed with both friends and strangers. It was a great day. 🍎

Absolutely incredible displays at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. So much history to take in and learn from.

This weekend, get away from the noise and the stress - of life and the world - and immerse yourself in nature. Mindfully experience the forest. Breathe the scents, listen to the sounds, touch the trees, ground yourself with the earth.

Writing a book is like raising a child. It takes time and patience.

I’ve let this manuscript sit for 8 years. Think I now have enough experience as a human and a writer to turn it into the story I’ve always hoped it could be. We shall see…

Truman Capote called himself "a completely horizontal author". He wrote laying down noting that he shifted "from coffee to mint tea to sherry to martinis." 😆

So however you choose to write or edit, and whatever you choose to drink...cheers!

Well-written and heart-wrenching book that provides an inside look at the issues surrounding the unhoused and the complexities of solving the crisis. So much opportunity for entrepreneurial innovation here.
