Fuck, you're right. I don't even like PLAYING the PMD games. I'm even more broken of a human being that I first thought.

Maybe that's it, lmao.

Maybe PMD makes me have to confront with the fact that I really *am* a little freak. I've got a fixation, a hyper fixation even - minute and specific.

I mean I don't like Hollow Knight, either, but I'm ecstatic seeing everyone enjoy and adore Silksong. But I guess Pokemon, and PMD, makes me feel like some freak anomaly that's wormed its way in like a parasite and latched onto a single organ of an entire fandom.

And like...why??? Why just this ONE tiny spinoff series that's been dead and buried for years. When I'm either ambivalent or outright hostile to literally everything else Pokemon related?

And sitting around, watching people go nuts for stuff I just do. not. care about. Usually it doesn't bug me.

I draw PMD all the time, I want to make a PMD game. I think of new PMD concepts. I pour over hundreds of thousands of lines of comics and stories, hours of music and videos, rotate it in my brain all the fucking time. There are few things in the WORLD that light my brain afire like PMD.

Yet I'm INTENSELY a PMD fan. The games haunt me like specters every fucking day. I obsess over the fanworks so much that I drop hundreds of dollars to run a whole website just dedicated to fanfiction. I run THREE enormous PMD fanfics with massive history, deep lore, the fucking works.

Genuinely, thank you everyone that's stuck with me and Cam and Mimi and Aster for so long. These stories have done so, so much for my mental health and creativity. I feel more complete working on them <33
