The Dani, Sam, 'Berto, Doug reunion was so lovely; but then it's all shouting. I bet Doug's behind the Technarch explosions & killed Vision, but we'll find out. I was expecting more from this team, even when they jump conclusions into action. Old friendships are helping no one here.

Bloodthirsty Lee narrates his way through a bloody encounter. Marc finds out that Eddie & Venom are the OTP because they match each other's freak. Felicia has a theft foiled & there are lots of feral cats for some reason. It's violent, fun, & bloody stories for all.

Fearless is little more than a plot device, but the battle between Wade & Cable goes all over the place. The art keeps the action moving, but the references & exposition are a lot to keep track of. Cable is from the future in an already future story? Sure. We'll see how this wraps up.

Quan Yaozu controlling the other Weapons is a scary concept. Danny as a fist of Osiris is an interesting twist. Great fight scenes. "Like kids in the driver's seat of a Lamborghini" Ha! Time is running out, but Possessed Luke Cage makes one hell of an obstacle.

An adventure with Magni and Ulik in Asgard. Are they servants to the story? Do they have choices? This issue doesn't answer any of those questions, but it might be asking them. The revelation of the All-Power worked, and will have lasting implications I'm excited about.

Skeletal Reed is creepier than I thought. I could have used more of Phoenix & Beyonder, but there was a lot of plot to get through in this one. Other than the aforementioned encounter (I could have read pages of) I really enjoyed the pacing and the way it is unfolding.

I like the El Zombie bits, and am feeling for Frank in this situation. The art sells the violence quite well, I appreciate the coloring creating a full mood. The spy pieces slow the pacing, but it feels intentional. The prison fight was nasty work. What's this run saying?

The art is as upsetting as it needs to be. It's an opening chapter, but it sets the stage well. I really don't know how Banner is going to get through this split, or how it will impact other books, but I'm very interested in the Atlantis of it all.

Trista calls Pete "Uncle" then a gas deal with Shaw goes wrong & the team argues about hidden loyalties. I feel like this would land better with established characters but instead it just kinda happens. Accusations are flying and as a reader I do not know or care which are true.

Love when legal issues pits Matt against others, & Frank is a big one. Narration tells the story in classic noir style. The Law vs Justice in stark contrast. Cool gangster meeting; fascinating. Issue is mostly set-up, but I enjoy what it's setting up.

The split-them is my favorite panel, but this issue was really beautiful. The light/shadow powers vs the Fenris lasers makes for a stunning battle with art & colors. Did I miss the part of the X-Virus that makes you a rabid Fenris follower? I'm excited to see Tandy & Ty together!

Felicia dealing with Tombstone is a lot. She's right: She's flirty & he's scary. Speaking of, I like her flirtation with Night Nurse. Getting herself in, and out, and back in to sticky situations is what makes her so fun. This run is just entertaining - Cover sells the tone.

I enjoy the versions trying to help each other as quickly as possible. Jan & Hank's "My Hank" scene was surprisingly touching. Carol doubts herself, but no one doubts her. Really enjoyed the fight with Ken and the historical pieces of Starbrand. Who will end up with the brand‽

I enjoyed the Capital D Drama of this one. The X-Men are a soap opera & this leans in. Twists & betrayals! Cortez got what he deserved, but it was brutal. Actually enjoyed the reveal/cliffhanger at the end. Being good to one person doesn't mean they Can't be bad.

The battles between various X-Men groups are always fun power displays. Forge & Nate's reunion took center stage for me. Logan v Creed is fun, the battle could have gone a little longer and showed more, but I enjoyed the versions interacting.

Love the design for Shuvahrak & finally getting to see her fully: Terrifying. The scatter & collection of the Outliers has to happen so fast I've barely processed it before it's over. Love the writing of the narration, Gambit & Rogue's love is more enduring than anything.

Tony's speech really inspired me here. It just hit in the political feels. This is a message that more people need to hear in the real world, and I'm ecstatic to see it here so boldly. Art sells the moments in between the words; the heroes coordinating & the people rising up.

Amazing Art (That Cover)! Love the party splashes: all of the cameos in their holiday finest. Every joke is great: "Buffer", The invites, "For your Bamfs". Ben is so sweet. Logan revealing the competition brought a tear to my eye, & then Aunt May! Great issue!

The May/MJ stuff is so touching; much as I like Cecila with Pete I'm not invested yet. Great new design for "Spin", and I enjoy Gwen here. The confrontation about families hits. I'm more interested in Why the Avengers need Pete & what Miles shows him, but wild cliffhanger!

Tombstone's face in the torture scene will haunt my dreams; the art really nails it here. Kingpin using Punisher to "clean up" the city works for me. Frank resisting killing the prostitutes is a great scene. Really enjoying where this is going, both in plot & subject matter.

Every demise is more existentially horrific than the last. Thor's end here is upsetting to say the least. (Will someone pick up Mjolnir?) Tony, Pete, Logan & Kurt make a hell of a team to fight Kraven. Sue vs the King is the fight I've been waiting for!

I teared up before the title text page. Thunderously emotional conclusion. Doom's final defeat at his own hands, with threads reaching back through comic storylines for years. Confronting Vishanti & Living Tribunal! Reed's resoluteness! That Final reveal! Growlix justified!

Training sessions are great ways to exposition-infodump. The creepy community scans are bone-chilling yet charming. Love the psy-trap! Great argument with & from Rachel. Quentin's gotten insecure; His talk with "Revelation" about his rebellious streak. Terrifying ending!

Nova saving the opening ship + art & pacing are excellent. His money troubles are an interesting plot device, & embarrassing situationally. Oh Pip. Still upset about Imperial's ending, there's a lot of lore shoved into the middle, but seeing Cammi & Ravenous again is a nice twist.

The way this whole world presides on plot points from the last year alone and no other history bugs me (Is AoR just to canonize FtA?), but isn't a deal breaker. Leonard eating Cyber's face was gross, unnecessary, & my favorite part of the issue. Of course Heather has a Muramasa.
