If your system is being impacted by the cloudflare outage you really should update your status pages too. I’m looking at you @github

So cloudflare is having major issues. Yet another system that’s a single point of failure for a lot of our most used internet services. I did see that they had done scheduled maintenance this morning. Perhaps it was vibe coded.

Neal McDonagh is great in everything he appears in.

The SORA Southpark episode is absolutely hilarious.

#Pluribus is pretty intriguing. I both like and dislike that it’s once a week though. Dying to know what’s happening.

So Trump orders investigation into other people who may have been involved with Epstein making any vote to release the files pointless. And I bet MAGA idiots will STILL believe he’s innocent.

Enjoying #plur1bus so far. Intriguing premise. And has that signature Gilligan style in how it’s filmed.

Was a bit behind in celebrity traitors. But watched the finale there and it was amazing. The winner deserved to win. Fantastic all the way through.

Frankenstein was fantastic. It didn’t feel like a nearly 3 hour film. Perfectly cast.
November 9, 2025 at 8:26 PM
Half an hour into Frankenstein and it’s already wonderful.

Been watching Derry Girls again. It’s fantastic of course. But it’s also a brilliant look at a critical and hopeful time here in NI. And we’ve done all right since then. Just wish our politicians would do better today.

Another day of battling awful legacy code that’s not been maintained and nobody understands. 25 years to go.

The gameplay loop in Arc Raiders is satisfying.

I enjoyed The Ed Gein Story but I don’t know if I liked it? I also felt really sorry for him at the end. I know it was a very exaggerated and fictional account of him so maybe thats why there’s sympathy?
November 1, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Arc Raiders is good so far. Very intense though.

Also confirmed that AWS have implemented throttling again on that AZ.
October 28, 2025 at 6:02 PM
AWS are having issues with services on us-east-1 AZ2 due to an issue provisioning EC2s. Of course it’s not yet on their health dashboard. But have had it confirmed by them. In case anyone is seeing problems. Theres throttling going on as well.
