My aunt has decided that we’re all doing Shrek for Halloween. Never mind that she and mom won’t be getting home until after 7pm. Never mind that I never agreed to this plan. Never mind that it was already decided to not give out candy this year. She already ordered the costumes (humans & dogs).

Another week of interviews done and I’m tired. Wednesday I made white rice with chicken in the rice cooker and instant pot. It turned out good so I did it again today with veggies and holy shit it’s so good 🤤

Also I love the fact requesting unemployment funds means waiting EVEN LONGER for the first payment after seeing what you might get. It’s been over two weeks & nothing yet. But they said, “here’s what we a COULD give you now we have to see if we WANT TO give you anything.” I just wanna pay bills man

Anyway, I was belting out Epic: The Musical songs in silly voices to help me not be so anxious for my interview. Idk if I was having a mini crash out or what. But it helped? And then after I belted them again but in my regular voice. Needless to say with all the talking and singing my voice is gone!

An admin assistant job wants a freaking BACHELORS degree?! The job duties are literally what I’ve done in every admin job I’ve been in. WTF. This is why it’s so hard for people to get jobs. I learned on the fly what to do in my first admin job years ago. The gatekeeping has become insane 👹
