Every country will be good at somethings and bad at others. To believe your country is the best at everything is idiotic!

It is amazing to me how strongly correlated the belief in the country's exceptionalism is to the unhappiness of its citizens! Russia and the US in particular, 2 countries with a very strong belief in their own exceptionalism whose citizens seem to be miserable most of the time.

So much better than the BS the Trump administration is pushing, but, TBH, if Ukraine agrees to this it means we failed them because if we had stepped up properly over the last 3 years and 9 months Putin would have already been forced into a humiliating climb down and Ukraine would be whole again!

I guess I will ask the obvious question: Since the Russian economy is in the toilet, where the f*ck does Trump think Putin is going to get the money to make payments for two Oblasts rich in resources? If Ukraine accepts this deal Putin will take control, not pay (even if he could) then attack again!
