RIP, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. When I first discovered him and his works in high school, when I started to become curious about economics, he became a role model for me.

This is a tribute to Effat Nikmard Kermani, my grandmother. She was a strong, brave, and independent person, who fought numerous challenges throughout her life, including her last battle with cancer. Anyone would have been amazed by her cheerful and friendly personality.
