Yup. For me it felt like a loss of not freedom??? but openness maybe? Getting up and riding my bike wherever, nothing on the horizon... then instead of fields everywhere it was houses. Anyway I'm glad I talked to you today

I honestly think that this is the first time in my time on social media where I talked to someone that I didn't 100% agree with but that I learned from, I enjoyed talking to, and I'm parting on good terms with. Thank you.

I guarantee I'm older than you. The older I get the more I realize I will need those younger than me to help me survive. I think that might be an issue for you. It's insulting to you to think you will need teenagers to keep you alive. But those teenagers will be your age when you need them

I'm not ripping on farmers here. What I'm trying to say here is that wealthy nations produce more food than they need and if we could get that excess to those in need it would be great.

I grew up in farm country and worked on farms. Then I watched all the farmers sell their land to developers who built big housing developments. I don't blame the farmers though, I would have done the same thing.

Honestly my main worry is that massive corporations are buying farm land from local farmers.

I honestly think we all agree that the future presents a ton of issues. And I'll be the first to admit I don't have many answers. It seems like we let a whole bunch of people die so the more privileged life but I really hate that. Maybe I just hope there are good answers and there aren't......

I understand the reality. It's a bit like Thanos. He thought that if he destroyed half of life the other half would thrive. True, but eventually the issue would present itself anew. Should he eliminate half of life every few centuries? That seems like a vicious cycle.

Again, it's not about the amount of resources, we have more than enough. It's about getting the excess to where it's needed.
