id probably actually get out the cribbage board to play it i think. maybe only jump your previous peg each round, for counting for pique and repique reasons.

reminded of cribbage by a lot of this. two players, two discrete scoring phases, alternating asymmetrical roles, keeping running point totals during a hand. i think this is neat
