Yo! Another Mr.Brown coffee enjoyer! My co-workers make fun of me for drinking it, but it's pretty good stuff

It's definitely going to be on my list of games to finish next year.
2026 is going to be my big retro backlog year 😤
I just wanted to see if it actually worked today, or if I have to go back to the game shop for a refund.

I loved Time Crisis and its sequels in the arcades. Never got to own a home port sadly.

I think I have played AvP in the arcade; it looks very familiar.
Another good series of cabinets were the Metal Slug ones, true coin munchers, but they were so good and still good to this day on consoles tbh.

Makes sense. I didn't have many arcades in my area growing up, so I didn't go to one until early teens, when we had Time Crisis and Die Hard Arcade.

I see why maybe some of the game's problems are here then lol
I wonder if the game is also just unbalanced if you play solo.
I know a couple of other beat'em ups had that problem, like Battletoads/Double Dragon.

A part of stage 2 had me flying in this mini aircraft, and it would spawn an enemy or two roughly every 30 seconds, even if I killed the previous enemies very quickly
The section lasted around 6 mins with a mini boss fight with a Sentinel.
No game over screen, just a screen freeze with music playing

I started and stopped at 1 until the Cyber Sleuth games.
I was a kid, so I didn't like the game cause all my Digimon would do was eat and poop everywhere instead of winning battles 😂

They upgraded the battle system from 2 so you get all these menu options now.
I understand bringing back the gym for training from 1, but what I don't understand is the need for a weapon/armor shop in a Digimon game🤔

I'll figure it out in a playthrough in the future

You get to choose 3 starter packs this time, which gives you certain Digimon. I chose C because getting Guilmon and Kumamon as a starter seemed different.

Definitely different from Digimon World 1 where you set off on foot while this one, it's a dungeon crawler (At least atm).
The music is pretty decent so far too.
At some point, I'll do a full playthrough of this 😊

I attempt to play the last save but after about 30 mins, I realize that I have no clue so time to restart.
I've done that twice to both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 😭
Maybe I'll try one of those again after I beat FFXIV.
Third time's a charm, right? RIGHT? 😭
