I know I've got one from older than that, and at this point I figure we'll sort it out if you ever come to Vancouver for book signings, since it requires Mailing Stuff. (It was a WC pin and an original-print-run copy of Stars Fall Home, iirc.)

It doesn't even need to be that many. A beloved manga series of mine got a translation, I preordered both books, and ONE preorder was enough for them to order five to put on the shelf. I then went and bought an entire hardcover set of another favourite, and they dedicated a whole shelf to the genre.

Hey, I first learned what a necromancer was from what would technically be called an urban romantasy nowadays - the Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong - when I was like twelve. We all learn somewhere, and necromancers aren't too common in urban fantasy that I've seen, so it's still cool!
