I’ve been getting headaches more often recently and I know a lot of it has to do with stress. It’s been so hard to decompress and relax when it feels like everything is on fire.

Everytime I think about the upcoming expansion pack all I can imagine is playing a storyline similar to The Prince & Me. I also want to recreate the Princess Diaries in some way. I don’t know where this explosion of inspiration is coming from but I’m not that mad at it.

The next trailer may be cross pack stuff cause that was very much emphasized in the article. I still don’t know how I feel entirely about the pack cause tbh it’s something I never really thought about in terms of the Sims 4 but I know there are lots of people who are looking forward to this.

The temptation to put CC in my limited mod save file is real. I keep seeing things that I really want to use. Having a lot of cc and mods on two computers can be annoying because the game updates so often. Maybe I’ll limit myself to specific creators and collections.

The urge to play through university for the 1000th time. I swear I never get bored of that pack. Kinda in the mood to play a sim whose dream is to be a chef but their parents are against it. To make them happy they go to university for biology or something.

I’m really curious what the base game update is going to be with this pack cause I can definitely see the family tree getting a much needed update. As far as the pack is concerned I don’t do royal gameplay but I am intrigued as to how this gameplay can be used outside of the royal setting.

I spent these past few days rotting in bed and reading. I ended 2025 with reading a total 220 books. For 2026 I didn’t want to increase my goal too much and found a happy medium. I base my new year reading goals off of the total amount of books read in the previous year.

Episode 6 of Heated Rivalry ripped my heart out. From start to finish it’s been amazing and I’m so excited for seasons 2-3 cause I know they are going to be good.

I’ve played both Rushmore and Delta by Mumford & Sons. Bank on the Funeral Stripped by Matt Maeson.
That’s 5 vinyls so far and I’m not even half way through updating all my mods 😅

I have the urge to play my heavily modded and CC save. I may crack open my other laptop and update everything to play. I don’t heavily mod and use CC on both laptops because it started becoming too much trying to keep up with everything after every game update.

Not surprised that Tate is my number one this year. I had her catalog on repeat a lot and I saw her live in August.

Looking at the comments kit announcement post is funny cause you do have people who are actually interested in having SpongeBob content in their game and people are arguing with them of why it’s stupid. All I’m going to say is this is worser than the Star Wars pack.

I’m tempted to start over my legacy challenge with a completely new sim. I loved Liam as my initial legacy founder but now I’m in this place of wanting to to give it a fresh start and creating a new family from scratch. I also like the idea of having extended family set up as well.

So things may be looking up in the job department. I’m up for a major promotion next year once my supervisor retires and it’s something I never thought would come. I’m grateful for my coworkers who have been in my corner and rooting for me.

I just saw a creators community post about what they are planning for the future with the Sims, and it made me want to throw a chair. The comments under the post are even worse, and it's genuinely a battlefield.

Might play some sims 2 and 3 this weekend. Any mod and/cc recommendations for both? Also is there a way to get things from the sims 3 store for free cause I am not paying to add stuff to the game in 2025.
The only mod I have for sims 3 is master controller and I have some sims 4 conversions.
