Massive strides in animation communities have been made through NSFW content creation spaces; NSFW writers have developed communities and launched careers that contributed hugely to the broader culture. And, ultimately, there is something crass about considering nudity or sexuality unseemly.
Even if you do not create/consume/like NSFW media you must speak up for SWs and NSFW creators b/c the criminalizing and banning of it is just another step towards fascism. It will be used to target minority groups, LGBT, etc. and anything deemed "unsanitary" or "degenerate".
