Oh, people have been DEMANDING it for years from Capcom. Its surprising they've re-released everything except that. 2 is one of my all time favourite games. I prefer the gameplay of 3 but the characters, world and story of 2.. Plus it was the one I grew up with. Theres a lot of hidden lore too

I feel like the DS4/Ryusei retranslation project deserves a shoutout. Aside from a total proper retranslation, it adds quality of life like smaller font, extended text and battle windows, cut content and even includes correct and full names from the data sheets. Id consider it the definitive edition
