Once you get her in the carrier, cover it with a towel or sheet. It will tend to calm them and make them less yakky. I keep a sheet in my car just for that reason.

Well she ain’t sitting in my empty apartment alone for 8 days while I’m outta town so she’s gotta have a twenty minute car ride to my friend’s extremely familiar place
