In a verdict that comes as a surprise to nobody (with the possible exceptions of Judge Janine and her boss) Sandwich Guy is found NOT GUILTY of assault.
While both versions of the memo asked for 27 months, Judge N pronounced a sentence of 21 months, followed by 3 years of Supervised Release. He's already served 23 months, so it's time served, and he'll remain on release while he appeals the conviction.

She didn't read it or sign it. The 330 AUSAs that work for her are trusted to sign documents on her behalf under the belief they will reflect office policy (which they're expected to understand can change radically every 4 years).
