It doesn't have to be a jab at artists - if it's the pipelines not putting time on the aspects they should my beef is with them. But I still believe that horses are wildly overlooked in animation or art education - in games and 3D as well.

That's why I'm begging artists to draw a horse from time to time xD
Also know it's impossible to be able to draw everything from memory but I believe that if a certain show features a thing over multiple scenes in more than one episode - that warrants letting artists look up how to draw it

I mean, I understand duplication of a background horse way more than drawing it horrendously in the first place. Especially that people ride horses, ride in carts, sleep in stables in this show. It wouldn't cost more to draw the horse right if they're already drawing it. Just needs enough care imo

It's the saddle way too far back, a strap of the bridle that goes... inside the horse? And no rigid stricture of the cart which means the horse would be pulling the whole thing WITH IT'S MOUTH

Yeah I think they're only hard because we tend to draw them way less than dogs or cats. But many artists who only draw humans struggle with other animals as well. Starting my artistic journey with animals was a good luck :D
