I always imagined "you've got another thing coming" as a euphemism for "you're about to get punched in the face if you don't get off your bullshit" which is a wildly different meaning than the original, which I just learned about right now

I had a boss who told us her dream was to climb Mt Everest. But we live in Colorado and in the 2 years I knew her she never once went out to climb any of the mountains here to begin getting herself in shape for the Himalayas, or even to the gym. Business people are weird
