Wrote a lil' thing about Ball x Pit, which has consumed me over the last few weeks. What a thing!

Wrote about my first few hours with Absolum. Its roguelite structure has finally made me feel competent at beat 'em ups. No small task! It's good!

I love this episode. Not only do we dig deep into the idea of the indie game sequel, we had a proper laugh doing so.

We yap about:

Rebecca is such a funny writer. If you have any interest in Danganronpa, Ace Attorney or Otome games, you *have* to check this out.

Only an hour in, but Henry Halfhead is an absolute delight so far.

Very much enjoyed finding this cheeky radio, which says everything you need to know about what inspired its playful sensibilities.

Not be a shill for my own employer here but the Greggs pulled pork sandwich with apple sauce is a genuine banger.

We're kicking off a fun little project we've been planning for a while today.

Click through to read some of my words about enormous TV-themed sandwiches and the most annoying game I've played in years.
Introducing Postcards! A newsletter-style feature where the three of us briefly write about something that's on our mind at the moment.

THIS ISSUE:

🛵 Dale Cooper on a scooter
🚽 Talking toilets in The Sims 4
🥪 Sopranos themed sandwiches

Enjoy!

We're recording a mailbag tomorrow, so we want your questions!

If they're about indie games that would be preferable, but deranged questions are also acceptable (and more on brand).

Thanks!

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is very good (and the 15 hours I've spent with it so far have flown by) but it's easily the most irritating sounding game i've played in years.

Just listen to the absolute state of this.

Wrote a thing about a (very good) Picross game.
We're playing with the idea of writing more for the website! Make sure to bookmark it if you're interested. We're going Web 2.0 with this.

Kicking things off, here's Liam justifying his dumb decision to finish a massive Picross game before the year is out.

Loving THPS 3 + 4. My immediate feeling was that we need more Tony Hawk games, but Acti tried that and it ended in tears.

I think I just want more games that prioritise skill based mechanics in a "soft", low-pressure way? Games that are embedded in a specific culture or moment?
