See a commander post a commander! I have 12 if you don't count the precons I haven't tweaked yet, but my sweet precious baby is the original Athreos. Starts off as "silly little guy cleric typal," except it's secretly "boardwipe typal." The table never minds it at all 😅

Speaking of board games, I'm obsessed with Spirit Island again. While I'd be terrified to build a co-op game that seems nearly impossible to win, playing one and dealing with the constant mitigation-not-remediation loop is THRILLING.
Of course, I could also just be bad at Spirit Island 🫠

I'm not saying I think my junk drawer should be tidier, but I do think I deserve to live a life where I don't dig through loose stamps, a letter opener, an epi-pen, and two knives just to get to a bottle of superglue.

MIO: Memories in Orbit is a knockout game in a lot of ways, but I especially love that the music in boss fights like ACAT and Crow loops to seamlessly give the rush of a distinct second movement RIGHT at the start of phase two. It's transcendent and very conducive to the flow state the game demands.
