Finally, here's a list of 40 other games that didn't make the top 25 for one reason or another but that I still wanted to highlight because... well, you should go play indie games tbh. These are ranked alphabetically so don't read too much into the order of them.

I put a lot of work into this year's list and am very happy with the result

All these lists will also be made available here in image form and on Steam on my curator page, so if you can't make the streams you'll be able to find them afterwards! I'll also upload the VODs to the YouTube channel I have and keep neglecting.

I also ended up with a "shortlist" of 33 #IndieGames that didn't make the top 25 - these are all fantastic games that I want to make sure get the highlight they deserve and I'll do a follow up stream to go over all these games on the 14th of December. Same Bat time, same Bat channel!

Brush Burial: Gutter World by @knifedemonsoftware.bsky.social - Absolutely stylish immersive sim where you have to sneak around and kill your assigned targets. There's some dope customisation options here too that I got way too obsessed with.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault by @digitalsungames.com - the sequel to moonlighter that I've been very excited for! Go out on adventures, find cool treasure and sell it in your shop for money. Absolutely love min-maxing selling items in the store.

Identifile by @gearbytegames.bsky.social - A roguelite dungeon crawler where you browse through folders on a pc. Defeat viruses, upgrade your cursor and try not to use an auto clicker to cheat with the clicking cursor... or is that just me?
