It’s deeply frustrating. I enjoyed the start of Bazball era, but they needed to build upon it and grow into a team that is able to turn it on and turn it off depending on the game state.

It’s clearly not going to be enough.

Some serious cognitive dissonance going on. It’s easier to just accept that America is not the greatest country in the history of the world. If it were, it clearly wouldn’t have elected Trump twice.

I guess they deploy this strategy because they know there will always be a bunch of dummies who will buy it hook, line and sinker.

I would be embarrassed for an 11-year-old if they said “you can’t be racist if you’re Muslim”.

What’s obvious is that if the roles were reversed and it was Eze who played the ball to Foden, we wouldn’t be hearing about the pass.

It was a decent pass tbf, but probably the better pass was to Saka and he turned away from it and missed the window. Given the proximity of the defenders, the only thing Eze could do with the ball was hit it first time, so the idea that Foden’s action was of more value than Eze’s is crazy.

This isn’t a slight on Olivia Smith, but I feel like we had a Liverpool men’s summer window when what we needed was an Arsenal men’s summer window. The squad is just unbalanced. We did not capitalise on winning the CL to really set us up.
