A year ago, when I joined my analytics team I wondered, how are external tools utilized in healthcare?
Interfaces (RESTful APIs), enable real-time communication. One of the most commonly used interfaces is HL7, which defines message formats for data exchange.

I promise I wasn’t talking to myself 🤣
Had and awesome convo with @opaleyesky.bsky.social whom I met at @commityourcode.bsky.social
We shared our experiences, anecdotes growing up in a hispanic home, and yes red haired Shakira is the best version of her 😎

Last week, I traveled to Dallas for @commityourcode.bsky.social

From Pickleball to karaoke, tech convos to socials; there is a thing for everyone here.

I left Texas with a smile, new friends, and the book on AI, ready to tackle and apply what I learned!

After a refreshing week offline with family and loved ones, I'm back and ready to innovate.
This week, I'm working on developing a dynamic system for building dashboards and components.

Trying to step out of my if-else logic comfort zone. Decided to test switch-case conditionals instead. Starting to see where I can apply more switches

Testing Nullish coallescing operator [??].
In short, if the left-side expression is null or undefined, it will return the right-side expression. Since we have no room number assigned, it will return the "Room not assigned" message.

Testing controller code for submitting transport requests. Image is optional, but name, date of birth, and locations are required to ensure the correct patient logistics. So far, it's working! Can't wait to break the app again and figure out the new errors.

Starting to like TypeScript more each day. Testing hospital logistics by calculating occupancy. Best way to learn a new concept? Write code: bed definitions are clear, but understanding the difference in physical/licensed/staffed beds is the tricky part.

This past week was busy! I completed my Clinical Data Models class, tested some builds in WebStorm, and learned a bunch of neat features on coding with AI agents (GitHub Copilot, Junie, and RooCode). Time to touch grass!

The team over at @thisdotlabs.bsky.social came through with the swag drop, huge thanks to Tracy, @dthompsondev.bsky.social, and everyone who made the last AI mini conference happen. Let’s keep committing to the progress, not just the agent.

Big week ahead! I'll be taking my next class, Clinical Data Models. This course will help me get more exposure to core tables and clinical concepts, while still combining Caboodle and Clarity data points. Excited to enhance my skills to the next level!

Today I had the pleasure of chatting with @technolangey.bsky.social! By the way, Arsenal is definitely taking the EPL this season, no doubts about it. You've been a fantastic colleague since day one, and it's been great to see all the amazing things you're working on.

I made this graphic as a quick reference after listening to the latest episode of The Programming Podcast. Danny and Leon shared the best tips on how to be fully prepared for an interview—in other words, how to knock it out of the park! open.spotify.com/epi...

Had a great chat recently with Alex from the Torc community! Beyond tech, I loved hearing about his hobbies, playing piano, mastering Czech, and chess. Always inspiring to connect with such a well-rounded mind. Looking forward to more!

Night of UI/UX with the CYC crew, a masterclass! Vishal showed us how to see the world with designer eyes, Kaleb on user-friendly apps, Zoe made us think like a designer, Brandon inspired design convergence, and Caleb closed with a Vanilla Ice-inspired design twist. Thanks to the awesome community

Today I yapped with @torcdotdev very own tech Barbie, @jordynww.bsky.social! She has the superpower of brightening everyone’s day—thank you for that, friend =).
The real MC of the convo? Fluffy on the left, such a sweet pup! Can’t wait to see you IRL again and trade more hot takes!

Ever wondered what makes up an AI agent? It’s all about these key components: perception (taking in data), reasoning (making decisions), learning (getting better over time), and action (doing something in the world). Thanks to @hypermode.bsky.social and @torc.dev for this collab workshop!

Built my agent (his name is Yappybara) on @hypermodeinc this week and wrapped up my class on Clarity Data Models. Love diving into the power of agent-driven tools and clinical analytics shaping the future of healthcare.

I just learned that Hamming distance has been out since the 1950s!
Now I’m using it to catch medication typos in my healthcare app, because even tiny data-entry errors can lead to big issues.

Today's focus was on mapping entry component props for my viral-aficionado app. The code readability after that fix was definitely worth it 😄 #ReactJS #SoftwareEngineer #WebDev
