im going through all the pages i saved from my gachiakuta read through and this is easily my favorite one. i love how urana plays with expressions, especially on zanka. he’s so cute it gives me actual cute aggression
a page from the gachiakuta manga. the first 3 panels are a transition of zanka nijiku looking pleased that enjin praised him back into a neutral expression. he then says to rudo “you geniuses aren’t capable of lookin’ at yourselves as objectively as us ordinary folk. don’t go underestimatin’ the smarts of an average joe!” rudo thanks zanka and the next panel is zanka pulling an expression of exasperation/disgust.

kristen and i went on a cheese-tasting date last night and at the end the host was like “congratulations! you’ve all just eaten a half pound of cheese!” and i felt the horror wash over me as i realized i have eaten FAR more cheese than this during charcuterie nights with my friends
