I really, really wanted to. However, I'm not versed at all in fluid sims, and to my understanding, they don't work for small scales. For this, I had to do them large, then scale them down as static meshes.

The Flip Fluid addon may grant me that option, but I can't justify the cost yet.

Heard it before, don't get why, and also don't care.

Yep, for cloth that's the way to go. There's some ways in sculpt to use cloth simulation, but it's very finicky and I've only just scratched the surface.

Interesting, I haven't tried an approach like that. I actually just started getting into muti-res modifiers to do sculpting, then baking normal maps. Still working on cloth stuff.

How are you approaching doing the creases/wrinkles in the suit? Is that just hand sculpting, or are you using something like a stretch mask?

In my experience, boundary pushers and harassers rely on being ignored. It allows them to operate with impunity. It's up to you to lay out your social boundaries and enforcing them, and you can do so without getting baited.

I'm talking about people who casually assume they know exactly what you're working on and try to make it an expectation. Like I said, it's akin to someone getting too close and friendly unsolicited.

I had it in my head to do a Totally Spies script for a comic last year and just had zero desire to write. Used to do it quite a bit years ago.

I'm amateur in the sense that I'm not an artist first and foremost. I don't charge for work, and don't take jobs. I've only been using Blender for a couple of years, which coming from no artistic background is absolutely amateur.

Isn't there a Junji Ito manga about something like this?
