Also how are you trying to listen? I've noticed that YouTube and Netflix don't sync too well to Bluetooth speakers so well sometimes.

Hmmm ok, I tried from mobile as I'm not home right now and the sound seemed ok. It doesn't mean it's not though..
Sometimes it can take a while for YouTube to finish rendering the higher quality versions, also sometimes you need to manually change the settings to show the higher quality versions.
