The level of corruption and rot is so deep that these people will not want to release power.

Hard for me to imagine that they will relinquish power peacefully.

I respectfully disagree.

Trump is a formidable political force: he pursues his amoral objectives ruthlessly, lies fluently, is merciless, has no empathy, knows how to speak to a camera, etc.

Focusing on his flaws as a person dilutes energy from the important task: to defeat him politically.

I will add that wish to the list of things that will not happen.

A couple of observations:
1) The message does not mention “Trump” or “speaker Johnson”. Not even once.

2) The day this message was published. What else happened today? 🤔

You do the math…

Defining this behavior as “toddler” misses the mark. This is deranged, psicopathic, evil behavior.

1) Disgraceful message by the president. No doubts.

2) No matter the circumstances, it’s is difficult for me to assign value to Mr Tapper’s comments/opinions. He has worked diligently to establish himself as a morally morbid journalist.

Sane and decent president.

Haven’t done the exact math, but idea is appealing… it may balance the budget!! 😁

This grotesque SCOTUS is creating the legal framework for autocracy one ruling at a time.

Not an unreasonable assumption.

"There can be no conceivable legal justification for…”

This is not a legal matter.

This atrocity was committed because, in their immoral view, they can.

And want the rest of us to see what they are willing to do. That simple.

This is not a pro-democracy government.

It’s a domination project.

Before announcing his decision, he called the president, not the speaker of the house?

Yeap, very healthy democracy… 🙄

Bondi is qualified to be AG of the USA? 😳

She may not be a total bimbo as the others, but she is miles away from the qualifications to be AG, let alone in the area of integrity, where she exhibits none.

It saddens me profoundly to witness how America went from being the “shining city in the hill” to this.

This action signals a moral debacle within our leadership.

“… when failed states cross borders” it’s quite a stretch in Miller’s pseudo-thoughts.

“Very odd?”
Have you been paying attention?

I also believe that Biden should have been more decisive in taking action against the autocratic threat represented by Trump and MAGA.

But it is also true that people voted for this nightmare, so there are deeper issues in play within the US to explain the current debacle.

Have a ton of respect for Chris Murphy, who is doing a remarkable job fighting the autocratic actions originating from the federal government.

I would prefer he would not refer to certain actions by the president as “not normal”.

Different language is needed.

They.Are.Unacceptable.
