She had no authority to release him. The county and state cooperates with ICE: when ICE requests a hold, they hold. The paused law had nothing to do with her actions.

I'm not sure what this is but it's rising from the east or maybe southeast. It caught my eye because to the naked eye it twinkled red, white and blue. This was taken at 30X. Oh, it's not dancing all over the sky, it's the videographer. Any idea what it is?
