Sleepy writer. Really likes Saori.
Got my new keyboard in today. The Brown switches will take a little getting used to, alongside needing to utilize a function key again to adjust the volume but I'm really liking this one.

And I've grown to appreciate less clicky key, too.

Almost ready for the transition.

Just gotta wait for the new drive to get here.

Character designs that go out of their way to show off the midriff, and especially the navel.

Bonus points if form-fitting or transparent outfits are involved.

Well, I can get a new keyboard as an early Christmas present~

...Now to figure out which one to get. Cause I was thinking of getting this Cherry one, since I want something to match my PC's white.

It's... surprisingly hard to find good full-size keyboards.

So I occasionally use UserBenchmark to compare CPUs and GPUs, and one really funny thing about it as of late is the site owner trying desperately to convince you that they're cool, all the critics are just Intel and Nvidia haters because most reviews of new parts always throw shade at AMD.

May or may not be back on my PSO2 bullshit after a certain someone's new racing outfit came out-

Starting to go over the stuff I wanna back up for my eventual move to Linux, cause I found my external drive a little bit ago.

35.) Metroid Prime 4: Beyond

Honestly had a great time with this one, too. There are some minor nitpicks with some mechanics, like objective reminders coming up too much and some overeliance on free-aiming, but overall a great experience.

And that's a wrap for this chapter.

What game made you actually fall in love with video games?

Coincidentally, it was the first one I ever played, at my uncle's house. 4 year old me was goofing around with the Zapper and I thought it was just the coolest thing ever.

Anyway, to take my mind off it, I'm back to sorting my Steam library by genre.

It's... taking a while-

Saori, please!

No iCUE, considering I have to completely close you twice in order for you to find my keyboard, this issue is that you're not trying hard enough.

I've grown to really fucking hate this piece of software.

These three, easy.

You don't even need to touch the gameplay either, they're perfect as is.
November 27, 2025 at 6:16 PM
I'm getting close to that point. It's becoming more and more likely that the first thing I buy if I get this new job is a decent Radeon card and getting rid of all this garbage.

Steam Awards nominations are going again. My GOTY choice is pretty obvious.

"Midi, that came out last-" DON'T CARE.

LRT: I read the test run review of those devices on Wired and came across this bit on the creator of them.

My immediate first thought was "oh, this guy is *never* getting laid."
November 24, 2025 at 7:26 AM
So far, only two games in my library broke that barrier.

34.) Kirby Air Riders

I have been waiting SO freakin' long for a sequel to one of my favorite racing games, and that long wait was genuinely worth it. City Trial kinda assaults your senses, but that kind of chaos I live for, and Road Trip is genuinely fun too.
November 21, 2025 at 10:12 PM
Yeah, that's pretty lame...

My train was delayed a little bit during the beginning too because of a brush fire.

But I got a lot of good shots beforehand.

I know I keep complaining about the job hunt, but I can't help but laugh at this.

So I got ghosted by this employer, and... now they're expecting me to submit a survey asking how likely I'll recommend this place to others? Like... Come the fuck on, dude.

33.) Lumines Arise

I already knew what I was gonna be in for given my time with both the demo and the dev's previous work, I knew this was gonna be ear- and eye-candy from beginning to end, and very much worth it.

Plus, it's Lumines. It's hard to mess that up.

32.) Q-UP

Who knew that flipping a coin would be so fun, and funny? A parody game of eSports where the main gimmick is just a best of 5 game of heads or tails backed up by unique mechanics that makes losing as viable a strategy as winning, a great sense of humor, and music.

"Hmm, I think I'll hop on GP and think about pre-ordering that Grande Scale Gene kit.

Oh. Oh no-"
November 6, 2025 at 5:32 AM
The wait for this figure was *very* much worth the wait~

I also got that other Gené figure back in March (the one I was upset I burned my floating holiday on.)
