The Dutch and Germans have systems similar to ACA, but regulate them much more heavily...and they pay only about 60% per capita what we pay.

In reality, the main reason we pay so much is because our unit prices are higher than elsewhere; mostly due to lack of competition/consolidation of health insurers and providers, as well as regulatory capture by AMA, pharma etc.
