Vargr goes by a "not forest name." He chose his forename to remind himself what he was/is: a guardian of the forest (vargr: norse wolves that protected Yggdrasil). His surname, Alfhildson, is an homage to his mother who died defending the Forest.

He has never shared his forest name w/anyone.

Most of my Wols/OCs are some lvl of predator (Seoc'a I describe as an apex predator). Esme & Rhori'to though... Esme is just too sweet & kind. Rhori... I love him, & he tries so, SO hard! But at the end of the day, he is, sadly, prey... (pictured below the poor boy)

For Marguerite, it was to earn gil after Estinien suggested she head south to find a new mentor after being released from her Oath to the Temple Knights. She tried her hardest to become a knight, but was so clumsy that eventually her knight, Ser Betrum Gough, had to let her go.
