Today's update giving some love to the map planner.
1) replaced the old "click -> weapon image goes to random spot -> drag where you want it". Now just drag it from the left sidebar where you want it
2) background img no longer cropped to your screen
3) now respects dark mode preference

I know we will mourn together the likes of Lemuria SZ and Flounder RM being labeled as "Community's choice" but today's update provides fixes to the new SQ maplist algorithm. This hopefully means it now works a bit more as expected.

In today's update SendouQ map list generation was revamped. Key changes:
- can now prefer a mode and submit less than 7 maps or no maps at all
- no more "default maps" if no maps for a mode available, most popular maps according to all users is used
- every preference taken into account

Thank you for the great response to the new tier list maker feature!
Addressing early feedback with today's update: you can now download the tier list as an image! This is especially useful for mobile where the screen width is narrow.

Do other comp games have some kind of equivalent to sendou . ink??? Its so sick how we have such a centralized place for tracking results and finding tourneys and everything, I can't imagine having to just deal with battlefy or whatever for everything lol

Small questions on preferences but currently clicking a user on SendouQ group forming page always opens a new tab (some other places do it too, but this is the most notable example). I want to change this so that links in-app always open in the same tab.

- standings (both on tournament page and user profile) for tournament with many starting brackets, notably CCA
- more tournament maplist generation algorithm work (main problem I was trying to fix was repeated maps in single mode tournament)

For SQ map list how important it is that it balances out the maps at map list stage.
Like I could balance out so that both teams get equal amount of "votes" and then it might be that the end result favors one team over other. This just would be an easy fix for the "default maps" problem

Just putting this here to commit to making it a thing but I should really "SendouQify" tournament subs experience. So much potential in theory to get more teams playing by getting those subs grouped up.

So to bring it more visibility this change was also made in today's update in case you wonder where the screen toggle has gone from tournament registration
Thinking of updating how screen banning works:
- No more asking teams @ registration
- Everything is driven from users individual setting (SQ)
- E.g. you sub in someone who wants to ban screen & tourney has screen bans enabled -> starts showing "ban screen"
- Also show it for scrims

I noticed some bug how the tournament pass randomizer works but how should it even work. Should I make the same hosting team always have the same pool and password for the whole tournament? So if you are assigned to host every match, you never changed pass or pool. Opinions?
