This season we heard from thousands of neighbors, visited all of our major train stops, and spoke with you on this matter. Thank you for your feedback. TOGETHER, we have secured a transformative transit system that is only going to get better.

I am proud to have been a leader in facilitating town halls with our community members on this important measure, and ensuring that my neighbors’ concerns were elevated and addressed in this sweeping legislation.

We avoided transit service cuts and prevented almost 3,000 workers from being laid off via an intergenerational investment and transit reforms. We also secured a world-class public transit system that is safe, reliable, accessible, integrated and affordable to get residents where they need to go.

Over the past 6 years, they have been able to bless 600 kids with presents during the holiday season. We were glad to be a part of this event that reminds us all of the true magic of this giving season.

I am grateful to have them as partners in the fight for more affordable housing options for my community members, and look forward to more collaboration in the new year.
