Honestly, everything I'm hearing about this movie makes me look forward to seeing it even more. The general consensus seems to be: uninspired plot, flat characters, stunning visuals, great soundtrack. And like... Yeah? What else should be expected from it? That's exactly what Tron's supposed to be.

Right, so just an update, thankfully there is much more actual food for thought in this one. Which just further confuses me why not shrink the prologue video to 10-15 minutes and include it as an intro section to this main one instead, but whatever.

The sets are gorgeous and the camera work and editing is top notch, but it suffers from both things that made me dislike the recent films: 1) everyone is incredibly stupid (Prometheus, Covenant); 2) here's a convenient weapon that kills / stuns the alien in seconds (Romulus)

Hate to be a downer, but I sincerely hope there's more meat on this one because the 50(!) minute prologue to this video consisted of the guy just recounting the plot and badly paraphrasing a better written article that touched on this topic.
