Oh wow, these take me back to my childhood.

My favorite bug? Bumblebees definitely.

Strangely I have a phobia of wasps, despite only having been stung by a bumblebee.

And I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: I think VRC is trying to do the right thing in the right way. However, I think we need more than a one-size-fits-all solution.

Age verification is one of those things that I agree is a good thing but is very hard to implement is a way that is both effective and doesn’t unnecessarily exclude people. I could not have anticipated experiencing this on such a personal level, however.

I'm certainly concerned that once Age Verification is rolled out to the general player-base this is going to become a lot more common. And given the lack of movement on the issue I'm not confident I will have a solution by that time.

While previously a mostly hypothetical scenario, communities have started age-gating. It is now a regular experience where I'm told I need to verify my age in order to join others.
