dude! Chex Quest 3 was so good!! beautiful levels, multiple boss fights, even big mobs of enemies that had me scrambling for cover. what a great way to finish the trilogy. it may have taken 11 years, but our super slimey adventure has finally concluded.

played through Chex Quest last night and it's honestly adorable. i love seeing Doom reinterpreted in such a nonviolent way, especially considering the gameplay itself is almost completely unchanged. the Supercharge replaced with a Balanced Breakfast? that's just awesome.

i like shoot em up games but man am i bad at them lol. i just can’t visually process that much information at one time. almost every time i die i think “…i didn’t even see what killed me.” i can never bomb fast enough to save myself because i can’t tell i’m about to get hit 🫣
