The world has no autonomy without the DM. So theyre the dragon. And also every npc the bard inevitably brags to about the dragon. A DM gets to be every bad part of this decision.

Which is why I make every dragon a top. Bard gone get split in half and have to deal with that regret.

A complete refusal to innovate. It plays it too safe and refuses to budge from its formula and at this point has gotten boring. The Story carried before but Dawntrails dropped the ball entirely. And then they got a little predatory with their shop making you buy an outfit in pieces for more.
