We met with every single State Senate office and almost every House office, wrote postcards and letters to legislators, testified in hearings, and rallied on the steps of the Capitol to make our voices heard.

SEIU 775 stands by Parent Providers. Today, a group of Parent Providers showed up in Olympia to support SB 5222, a bill that would allow parents of minors to be reimbursed for the care they provide. Currently these parents can’t get paid for their essential work, which we are working to change.
