If the AI drawing you see tomorrow is 1:1 perfect, if the AI voicegen has no awkward lack of pauses or inflections, that's not when we're out of "gotchas"/reasons to heavily restrict it

That's when we double down to keep it from becoming the festering cancer on art that it already threatens to be

I love dunking on the six-fingered, uncanny-eyed AI slop as much as the next guy, and there's perhaps a certain level of uncanniness that's not gonna be resolved soon

But the technology is only gonna keep evolving. And the restrictions we place on it shouldn't be because "it's not good enough"
