Love this. I never thought you did (especially on PK, which seemed a bit early for the genAI hype) but it’s nice to be reminded every once in a while that nonsense and love can build good games.

The UFO 50 game Mooncat was the one me and my siblings enjoyed the most. Just shuffle up some basic platformer controls and make players feel like they’re just learning to walk.

I tend to go two questions deep. Why do the witches eat children? Because only children have this special essence that the witches need to live. Why do only children have this essence? Because it is made from first experiences. Something like that. Give people enough to hold onto.

It’s a useless label to give. Except… what does it tell us about the labeler? What crimes would the labeler deem morally gray? What pains caused become unforgivable to the labeler? And does this then give us the right to deem them morally gray? Is this the start of an endless cycle of judgement?
