All variants can be updated immediately. Due to changes in the extension manifest, users of the Firefox version might have to re-enable the extension's permission to access Steam store pages. This is out of my control, but at least it should be a one-time thing. [2/2]

Yeah, definitely better than nothing! As far as I know, none of the other games stores even have this.

Steam does allow games with AI-generated content, but their developers/publishers are required to fill out an AI Generated Content Disclosure, so customers know about it. Only undisclosed usage of generative AI is not allowed.

Technically yes, Steam requires devs to disclose it when games use or make AI-generated content, but sadly they're not enforcing it strongly. Steam grants refunds to buyers of games with undisclosed AI use, but apart from that, devs don't get in much trouble if they lie. I hope that changes soon!
