As a gay woman, they are absolutely different. One side is constantly trying to take my rights away & treat me as lesser. The other is always pushing for protections.
You’re absolutely right that they fucked up with RvW, but it seemed absurd that anyone would try to ban it at that time.

If we lived a world where politics wasn’t corrupt, it’d be easier for people like AOC & Mamdani to stay true to their personal beliefs.

Well they’re writing films now under the assumption that the viewer will be on their phone, so they intentionally repeat exposition over & over. They’re also assuming we’re watching on a small screen, so there’s less attention to cinematography/camera angles & most work is done post production.

Sequels were special & unexpected back then. They also felt like complete movies & not just a setup for future movies.

I do know that Republicans are terrified of ranked choice voting because they always lose due to not truly being the majority. My state switched to RC & Rep voters lost their minds lol
They also believe it gives people more than 1 vote & trying to explain how it works is a major struggle. 🙄
