I believe the key word is "elected" which gives you Keir "Change" Starmer, Boris "Roaring Twenties" Johnson and Theresa "The New Iron Lady" May in reverse order.

That poll is from before Labour prevented their most popular potential candidate from running. Do you think the Labour vote is likely to go up or down after this weekend's shenanigans?

Wonder who the one was?

I beg you to read about how the "centre" fought tooth and nail against the left leadership of Labour, throwing two elections in the process. Since taking power they have continued to punch left and pander right. There can be no "working together" with these ghouls.

Whether Burnham is able to run as MP, becomes leader, doesn't matter. I wish nothing but destruction on the Labour Party, so that something better can replace it. The whole edifice is rotten to the core.

Labour's "You Are Not Alone" in 2019 was pretty incredible. Shame it couldn't turn the tide. But I'm ready to hope again, with Zack and the Greens.

Some might be. The flip-side is how many Labour voters will go Green if Burnham is blocked from standing. Looks like an interesting race whatever happens.
